Manage Password

Purpose

Add / change / remove passwords required to open and set permissions in a PDF file.

Description

The Manage Password component enables to add / change / remove passwords that are required to open and set permissions in a PDF file. In the given example, a Manage Password component is designed to change Owner password and remove User password from strAccountFile file.

Note
An existing password is mandatory if it is to be changed or removed, otherwise there will be a run time error.

Display Name	String	Display name of the component.
Enable Pause	-NA-	Option to pause the activity (related to the component) during a job execution after receiving a pause control signal from the Cockpit application. The checkbox is selected by default.
Input
New Owner Password^@	String	New permission password for the PDF file. This password is required to change file permissions for performing file level operations like printing file, copying file content, etc.
New User Password^@	String	New password to open the file.
Old Owner Password^@	String	Existing permission password for the PDF file. Permission password is required to change file permissions for performing file level operations like printing file, copying file content, etc.
Old User Password^@	String	Existing password to open the file.
Source PDF Name*	String	Name of the pdf file in which the new password(s) are to be set.
Misc
Enable Bookmark	-NA-	Option to set a bookmark.
Is Reserved	-NA-	Option to disable data tracing related to the component.
Output
Destination Folder Name*	-NA-	Name of the folder (including folder path) where the updated file is to be saved.
Note: 1) The property names marked with * sign are the mandatory properties. 2) The property names marked with @ sign form a set such that value for at least one of them is required.
